Who We Are

Built by people who
drive these roads.

The Tripistan isn't a booking portal. It's a small, deeply experienced team that has personally driven every route, slept in every region, and knows which guesthouse earns its price and which mountain road closes in July.

Whether you're a solo traveller chasing solitude in Fairy Meadows, a family wanting Hunza without the logistical headache, or a company building a retreat that people will actually remember, we design the journey around you, not around a package shelf.

Traveller Stories

What our guests
say about the
journey.

Trekking in the mountains

Real experiences from travellers who trusted us with their most precious resource, time.

"I've travelled with agencies across South Asia and nothing compares to how personally The Tripistan handled our Skardu trip. They knew which roads to avoid after rain, which guesthouse had the view, and which detour was worth the extra hour. Extraordinary team."

AK
Ahsan K.
Skardu & Deosai Expedition

"We booked a corporate retreat for 18 people to Hunza with very little notice. The Tripistan handled everything, accommodation, jeep convoys, meals, permits. Not a single thing went wrong. Our team still talks about it six months later."

Sara N.
Corporate Retreat · Hunza Valley

"Fairy Meadows at sunrise. I had no words. The Tripistan designed the entire itinerary around my pace, solo traveller, first time in the north. They answered every message within minutes, even at 11pm when my jeep was late on the mountain road."

OM
Omar M.
Solo · Fairy Meadows & Nanga Parbat

"Took my parents and kids, four generations, to Hunza. I was terrified of the logistics. The Tripistan made it effortless. Every restaurant, every rest stop, every memorable moment was planned. My parents said it was the best trip of their lives."

Pakistan's north doesn't need to be discovered, it needs to be reached properly. That's the only job we've ever had.

Common Questions

Everything you
need to know
before you go.

Still have questions? We're reachable around the clock.

Do you offer fixed packages or only custom itineraries? +

Every itinerary we build is completely custom. We start from your dates, group size, budget preference, and travel style, and design the route around those specifics. The trips shown on our website are starting frameworks, not fixed products.

How far in advance should I book? +

For peak season travel (June–August), we recommend 1-2 weeks ahead to secure the best accommodation and transport. For off-peak, even a week's notice is often workable. Corporate groups typically need 3–6 weeks for full logistics coordination.

What's included in the trip price? +

This depends on the package you choose. We typically include transport, accommodation, and local guide fees. Flights, personal travel insurance, and optional activities are usually separate. We walk through every line item before you confirm anything.

Is Pakistan's north safe for tourists? +

The areas we operate in, Hunza, Skardu, Kumrat (Dir Upper), and Gilgit-Baltistan broadly, are considered safe and welcoming destinations for domestic and international tourists. Kumrat in particular is a peaceful, community-driven destination highly regarded for its hospitality. We monitor conditions continuously and route accordingly. Our team is on call throughout your trip for any situation.

Can you arrange trips for solo travellers? +

Absolutely. A significant portion of our bookings are solo travellers, both men and women. We design itineraries with your independence in mind, and our 24/7 support means you're never truly alone on the road.

What's the best time of year to visit? +

It depends on the destination. Hunza is spectacular from April (cherry blossoms) through October. Skardu and Fairy Meadows peak June–September. Kumrat Valley is best from April through October, with the meadows in full bloom June–August and autumn colours peaking in late September. We can advise based on exactly what you want to see.
